Street Light Circus is a collaboration of artists that seek to build and promote a thriving circus scene in Washington, D.C. We hope to make circus accessible, as a mobile and evolving art form that stokes conversation, interaction and inclusion. Circus is a way to harness not just the skill and talent of a community, but the unique character that makes someplace feel like 'home.'

DANI PIERCE STEUBER approaches every project with a vision and draws her subjects to life, thriving off of the creative energy of dancers, musicians, performers and artists, framing each character in the light of their own vision. Her informed eye and playful direction deliver extraordinary feats from the lens to her viewers.

CHRISTIAN KLOC started juggling at six years old and never looked back on a life without aerial inspiration. He’s an accomplished chef, writer and performer. Aboard food trucks, in kitchens, on the streets, on stage and from his home in Northeast, Christian has acquired a well-traveled palate -- for D.C.'s culinary, artistic and editorial delights -- without ever having to leave city bounds.

DARREN RABINOWITZ began his circus journey at circus summer camp when he was twelve years old and since he’s traveled in Lithuania and Montreal to be part of the ongoing evolution and discussion of contemporary circus. For the past three years, Darren has been teaching flying trapeze, hand balancing and acrobatics in the D.C. area and last year took his talents to Rwanda to teach for a year. He currently resides in Philadelphia and recently begin working at the Trenton Circus Squad.
